July 2017: Mablins Lane Community Primary School - PTA Support. The Parish Council has provided financial grant support to the Mablins Lane Community Primary School PTA for the purchase of gazebos for use at their outdoor events. A letter of thanks can be seen HERE.
2014: Newsletter (Summer 2014 edition). The Parish Council has produced a newsletter that will be distributed directly to properties in the Parish. The Newsletter aims to provide an overview of the undertakings of the Council, and to provide residents and occupiers in the Parish with a clearer understanding of the Councils aims. August 2012: Moss Lane Traffic. Following a number of of concerns that have been raised regarding traffic issues in Moss Lane, the Parish Council have requested the Cheshire East Council to consider potential improvements, and as part of this a formalised public consultation process has been underway. The Parish Council welcomes any legitimate views from residents and interested parties. Please see the attached POSTER that provides further details.

June 2012: In recognition of Her Majesty the Queens diamond jubilee year, the Parish Council have funded and managed the installation of a footpath that runs along the inner boundary of the war memorial green at Bradfield Green.
The path, that was officially opened on the 3rd June 2012, includes a dedication plaque inscribed as follows: 'This footpath was laid to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Her Glorious Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, 2012 AD by Minshull Vernon & District Parish Council'.

June 2012: On Saturday 2nd June, 2012, the Parish Council provided a 'Diamond Jubilee Celebration' to mark the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's ascession to the throne. A FREE event was held at Leighton Primary School including entertainments, exhibitions, and food. The event was well attended by parisioners and their families, and a letter of thanks was received from the Headmaster of the school - please click HERE to view it.
August 2011: The Parish Council have funded and managed the renovation of the war memorial at Bradfield Green. This had included new masonry posts, chains, internal flagstones, and gravel. A cobbled perimeter has also been installed to protect the posts against damage during grass cutting operations.
January 2011: The new church hall of St Peters Church has now been opened, and Parish Council meetings will now be held in this new facility. The church hall is available for private hire. Details of this are available from Revd. Philip Goggin on 01270 522213 - website www.stpeterslcmv.co.uk
October 2010: The Parish Council have installed four (4) new noticeboards throughout the parish. These were to replace old or badly positioned boards. The notice boards are situated at Whalleys Green (by Victoria Monument); Bradfield Green (outside the Coach and Horses PH); Barrows Green (outside Leighton CP School); Parkers Road (by the Co-op late shop). The notice boards will contain information related to the Parish Council and other community related items. Please contact the Parish Clerk should you have any documents or notices that you wish to display in the noticeboards.

August 2010: A large ash tree adjacent to the War Memorial at Bradfield Green has been cut down and removed due to concerns regarding its stability. It is the Parish Councils intention to replace it with a young tree in the future.
July 2010: Vehicle Speed Management - The Parish Council are active supporters of vehicle speed compliance and excessive speed reduction within our ward areas. Following our successful use of hand held vehicle speed detectors, the Parish Council have purchased a trailer mounted vehicle speed indication device. This will be regularly positioned at authorised sites throughout the Parish. Please contact any of the Parish Councillors if you have specific concerns regarding speeding traffic.
